Attached you will find the statistics that we will need to keep beginning this month.
Per our conversation at the reference meeting on Nov 28, 2007 we decided to keep statistics for:
RAP- these are the one-on-one consultations you do in your office. Count one for every 30 minutes.
Phone calls- count every transaction you do. If, in your opinion, the phone call is long, then count two.
Emails- you will need to count emails from patrons that come directly to you. If you are going to make multiple transactions with the same person (like reply/reply/reply) than count these as separate transactions. Bart will count emails sent to the Ask-a-librarian.
You can use the statistics you collect for your AFE/TPR.
The attached Excel has January by days; however you will only need to send the month totals for emails, RAPs and phone calls.1
Excel spreadsheets need to be sent to Ruby at the end of each month. She will then add these statistics to the stats she already keeps.
Becky will send out an explanation of why we are keeping these statistics.
If the form is not working, let me know and we can re-do it.
If you have questions, please let me or Becky know.
